Coker University cuts tuition 28% for online MBA and sports administration master's degree
New $500 per-credit-hour rate puts a $15,000 graduate degree within reach for working professionals in the Pee Dee and beyond
Hartsville, SC (10/08/2026) — Coker University today announced it has lowered tuition for its Master of Business Administration and its Master of Science in Sports Administration. The 28% reduction brings total tuition for each 30-credit-hour program to $15,000, saving students $5,760. The new rate takes effect in January 2027 for the Spring 2027 semester.
"Coker University is committed to removing tuition as a barrier," said Coker University President Natalie Harder. The cost of an advanced degree can feel impossible, especially for recent graduates and working adults. Our MBA and sports administration programs are designed with flexibility and affordability in mind, because a quality education should be accessible."
Both programs are offered fully online, so students can keep working while they earn their degree.
The graduate tuition reduction builds on Coker's broader commitment to affordability. Beginning in fall 2027, the Pee Dee Promise will provide 100% tuition coverage for qualifying full-time undergraduate students with a family adjusted gross income of $75,000 or less who live in the 10-county Pee Dee region: Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Kershaw, Lee, Marion, Marlboro, Sumter and Williamsburg counties.
