Sanders Awarded the Susan Coker Watson Scholarship

Kirsten Sanders, from Enoree, SC, has been awarded the Susan Coker Watson Scholarship.

The Susan Coker Watson Fellowship Foundation at Coker College provides funds annually to support study abroad in European countries. Recipients of the award shall be either a rising Junior or rising Senior with at least a total of 60 semester hours of credit earned before the activity. They must be outstanding students, must give evidence of serious purpose, and must be good representatives of the college and the community.

Recipients are selected by a committee comprised of the College Provost, the Director of the Center for Engaged Learning and faculty. The applications may be obtained from the Center for Engaged Learning. Priority will be given to students with no previous study abroad or extensive travel experience.
