Lowry Receives Excellence in Leadership Award

Jessica Lowry, from Charleston, SC, received the Excellence in Leadership award.

For the excellence in leadership award, students are chosen by their campus involvement in a variety of campus activities, athletics and other campus organizations; their Coker spirit as they served as positive advocates and promoters of the college and the college community and their ability to demonstrate leadership.

Lowry is involved in many areas across campus.When asked what being a leader at Coker meant to her, she responded, "Being a role-model to others that actively encourages other students to get engaged in academic and extracurricular activities through action."
