Coker College Student Louise Benton Inducted into Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society

Coker College is pleased to announce that Louise Benton has been selected to be a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education. Benton is a junior early childhood education and elementary education double major from Kingstree, S.C.

The organization was founded in 1911 to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among those dedicated to teaching. Membership is open to students who meet specific academic requirements, exemplify worthy educational ideals and give evidence of leadership abilities.

Coker College's Kappa Delta Pi Induction Ceremony was held on Feb. 20, 2012, in the Drawing Room at Coker College.
