Coker College Student Jonathan Pent Honored by Conference Carolinas

Coker College student Jonathan Pent has recently been named to the 2012 Conference Carolinas Fall Presidential Honor Roll. A total of 120 Coker student-athletes were recognized by the conference. Pent is a senior business administration major from Lexington, S.C.

A total of 1,724 student-athletes were recognized on the fall honor roll. In order to qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher. Conference Carolinas presents its honor roll twice a year, covering the fall and spring academic semesters.

The recognition by the conference capped off a fall semester which saw 10 Coker teams post team GPAs of at least 3.0. They were as follows: men's basketball (3.0), baseball (3.1), men's golf (3.1), men's tennis (3.6), men's cross country (3.3), women's basketball (3.2), women's golf (3.3), women's soccer (3.1), women's volleyball (3.2) and women's cross country (3.2). Each team had at least five student-athletes with a 3.0 or better.
