Coker College Student Jasmine Brown Inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society

Coker College is pleased to announce that Jasmine Brown has been selected to be a member of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) honor society. Brown is a senior psychology major from Bennettsville, S.C.

The purpose of Omicron Delta Kappa is to recognize those who have attained a high standard of efficiency in collegiate activities and to inspire others to strive for conspicuous attainments along similar lines; to bring together the most representative students in all phases of collegiate life and thus create an organization which will help mold the sentiment of the institution on question of local and intercollegiate interest; and to bring together members of the faculty, staff and student body of the institution on a mutual interest and understanding.

Membership in ODK is awarded to undergraduate junior and senior students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, to students of graduate and professional schools and colleges of the institution, to members of the faculty and administration, to alumni and to persons qualifying for membership "honor causa."

Coker College's Omicron Delta Kappa Initiation Ceremony was held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in the Drengaelen House of Coker College.
